South Carolina Looks Like A Two Person Race
PPPs newest poll of Democratic primary voters in South Carolina finds it looking like a two person race, with only Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders reaching double digits in their support. Biden gets 36% to 21% for Sanders, with Elizabeth Warren at 8%, Pete Buttigieg and Tom Steyer at 7%, Tulsi Gabbard at 6%, and Amy Klobuchar at 3% rounding out the field.

(96,523 posts)South Carolina, the pollster is a B rated pollster, the media is relatively quiet about this. I suspect if this poll had shown Biden in a negative position, this would be blasted all over the airwaves
Hopefully this will hold, and the asshole talking heads will have egg all over their face for pushing the theme that Biden and the other non-Bernie candidates were finished, with the media's talking point that Sanders was unstoppable, when we only have had three primaries

"GREENVILLE, S.C. (TEGNA) South Carolina does not have a Republican primary this year, so a couple of groups are urging Republicans to vote in this Saturday's Democratic primary in hopes of giving President Donald Trump an opponent he can beat. Who that is depends on who you ask, but at least one group has a specific target in mind.
The Chicago Tribune reports a group called Trump 229 is urging Republicans to vote for Sen. Bernie Sanders.
Karen Martin, who the Greenville News says has been promoting an effort to get people to vote for Sanders, said a victory by the Vermont senator would hurt Vice President Joe Biden. Biden has said that South Carolina is his firewall given his support among African-Americans. But polls in recent days have shown Sanders is within striking distance."
