Sanders 2020
Related: About this forumHow many here are a tad pissed at the spin re: Last night?
I'm actually trying to avoid GD and other news bytes today because I am just sick at the spin against Bernie...again.
He's right when he says he's fighting the Establishment, they really don't want him to tax their 1% asses and they know if he does win things will change. So they can't allow that.
The machine has all but dubbed Joe the "ONE" when there's still HOW many delegates?
Talk me down, folks...I'm feeling angry and discouraged.
Looks like our elections *are* rigged, and they have been for a long time...

(34,370 posts)as I feel the same.
It is what it is so I will just follow what Bernie decides to do.
It certainly packed for Joe Biden but there are still more delegates.
I wish I knew how this happened but I am staying away from most of this until I feel a little calmer about it.
To be routed by Joe Biden blows my mind.

(14,097 posts)and I don't see Biden as routing Bernie just yet.
It's just so frustrating because he has so much going for him and the fucking DNC et al are dead set against him in EVERY way. Hell, I can't even listen to the MSM because they either don't cover him or they shit talk him
Part of me wishes he'd just run as an Independent and fuck them all over...even if he didn't win, just fuck with both parties' ...
I am also considering exactly where I will move when Trump wins again. Looking into New Zealand, or somewhere else that will take expats (political refugees)

(14,097 posts)I hate thinking "the fix is in" and I am not really feeling the "vote blue no matter who" either
Biden isn't that strong, there's just a lot of folks who think he's "due"
That same thinking got us Hillary
Obama hasn't endorsed him, yet IMO he's riding on those coattails as well

(8,236 posts)primaries which are easily compromised, a flood of candidate endorsements, russia, MSM pushing for their favorite, it all adds up to where we may not get our best choice or even the best choice for the country & definitely not as progressive as we want and need to undo 40 years of reaganomics. My biggest concern, if Bernie doesn't get the nomination, is bringing enough excitement & votes in to beat tRump.

(10,849 posts)and get busy Berning. We have some states to win. Bernie took one day off, and he has rallies every day now. Bernie has had 40 years of this crap, and he carries on.
Thanks for the reminder...
today is phonebanking at our local community center
Keep Berning!

(3,075 posts)I just got a pep talk from my 22 year old son, he's a big Bernie supporter. I'm not giving up, we will both be voting for Bernie on the 17th!
