Former Democratic Michigan Governor Jim Blanchard was on tv last week. "Off The Record with Tim Skubic" on PBS. During a discussion regarding presidential candidates the name Elizabeth Warren came up. Blanchard said he did not know her and could not really express an opinion. He did however, use the phrase "scowling school marm." Blanchard does in fact support Biden.

2. That type of phrase has popped up here at DU, too. I don't think

longtime DUers would push that baloney, but, those who joined recently to post pointedly about the primaries have gone that route.....and the backlash has been swift.

Established DU Dems here who support Biden would balk at spreading that stereotypical BS. Campaign ‘strategists’ tend to invest fully in attacks stereotyping female opponents. They aren’t doing their candidate any favor. Many of us are still pissed about 2016 and won’t let it happen without a call out.
