How important is the flesh-and-blood office holder after all?

It is more a matter of which ship is going to be populated with the sort of policy objectives and personnel I consider to be my kind of governance.

If Kamala Harris needs to take over, I'm still aboard the ship which is going to my destination with the crew who I believe can get me there.
