1. I understand Trump's motive for a "symbolic" Arlington photo-op...

his distain for the military is obvious but Trump's repulsive reference to fallen soldiers as "losers"/"suckers" was front and center at the DNC convention...because his advisors were desperate to present Trump as a compassionate friend of the troops and erase the "losers"/"suckers" flashing red light, they arranged a visit with zero concern for proper protocol...and true to Trump's callous disregard for the living or the dead, Trump and his keepers "bludgeoned" their way through the cemetery's hallowed grounds ( with cameras and the press in-tow) and got what they came for: cringe-worthy snaps of a grinning thumbs-up reptilian psychopath...

and a week later asshole Trump announced he would replace generals with MAGA loyalists...
