Lawrence O'Donnell on Trump's Taylor Swift attack: 'The most hateful mind' in presidential history - The Last Word MSNBC

Markenzy Lapointe announced charges against the suspect in the apparent assassination attempt on Donald Trump. He is also the first Haitian American U.S. attorney in American history. MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell argues there won't be another Haitian American U.S. attorney if Trump, who says that immigrants are “poisoning the blood” this country, wins the presidency.

Lawrence explains the damage Trump, who has the most hateful mind and spirit in presidential history, and a Republican controlled Senate would do to the Supreme Court and federal judiciary if they were to win. - Aired on 09/16/2024.

I cannot believe after we've seen all he's done over the past 9 years - January 6th, stealing classified documents, putting national security at risk, 34 felonies and sexual assault - that there is anyone who could possibly support him for the highest office in the land.

So I figured she'd be a good one to talk to about my fears, she and I also worked on 2 campaigns for our previous congressman who fortunately happened to live locally. So I told her about my fears - and she said that she's hopeful. I'm sorry to say, as experienced as she is, she didn't convince me.

it's not easy judging by what is happening and what has happened in the past.

I had dental surgery on election day 2016, voted on my way home with my face still half numb. And I was feeling positive about the good turnout at my polling place, Hillary Clinton was our senator, after all. And I was looking forward to the election since we'd never have to see or hear from that offensive blowhard again! But I fell asleep on the couch watching the returns and woke up at about 3am to see TFG and his entire extended family on the TV! I figured I was having a bad dream - and it's one that refuses to go away...
