(608 posts)Trump and MAGA would annihilate unions.
None of the union members in that clip seemed to be aware of Trump and Musk's anti-union statements in that interview on X.
Harris is pro-union. Trump is anti-union.
Harris supports the Protecting the Right to Organize Act. Trump doesn't.
The union members that were complaining about the high cost of houses seemed to have no clue of Harris's concrete plan to address that problem and the fact that Trump has not even the concept of a plan to fix it.
And when the topic of immigration came up, the union members who complained about too many 'illegal' immigrants coming into the country and put the blame on Harris were completely clueless that when the Biden administration (which includes Harris) tried to pass that bilateral immigration bill, Trump got his toadies in Congress to shut it down because he knew it would help him politically. And as demonstrated by the ignorance of some of these union members, Trump's calculation proved correct.
The main lesson, though, is that Democrats really need to figure out a way to more effectively reach, educate, and win the trust of the undecided voters in the battleground states between now and November 5.
