As the world marks one year since the tragedy of October 7, 2023, much remains unresolved in a part of the world where living without resolution is commonplace. Its time to redouble efforts to respect that conflicting ideas and opinions can be held without resulting in war, death and destruction. - Aired on 10/06/2024.

(222,149 posts)2. Thanks! And I was impressed as well - as I usually am with Ali Velshi
And I never forget what he said in response to TFG's false claims about President Obama - Ali Velshi said that he was actually the Muslim who was born in Kenya. And he is always excellent in bringing the news, I still think he deserved an award for the days he spent on the Ukraine border at the start of that horrific war. And there was also the time he took a rubber bullet to the leg when he was reporting on TFG sending law enforcement to break up a lawful protest. Ali Velshi is one of our best!

And he does his homework (particularly regarding Project 2025) so he can bring us accurate information - and takes it upon himself to spread the word.
