their right-wing leader, Netanyahu. A few extremists can destroy a lot in a very short period of time and it takes decades to rebuild good will. I relate it to the world view of Americans based on Trump - when half of America despises him.

First, and most importantly, Netanyahu is NOT the Prime Minister of the Jews! (Your comment: It's a shame that so many jews* are being judged by people mostly because of their right-wing leader, Netanyahu.) Once again, Netanyahu is NOT the Prime Minister of the Jews! Second, it is WRONG to blame bigotry against a group based on the actions of someone in the same minority. That is to say, do NOT blame a Jew/Israel for anti-Semitism. And finally, the idea that Jews, as a people, need to "rebuild goodwill" is repellant.

When bigotry against a minority, in this case Jews (per YOUR remarks), is blamed on the actions of others, it is a classic form of "blaming the victim". Writing "Fuck Israel" on a random synagogue is anti-Semitism, just as it would be Islamophobia to write "Fuck Hamas" on the side of a random mosque.

* BTW, "Jew" is a proper noun and is to be capitalized.

I personally think a lot of recent antisemitism is because of Israel's actions regarding innocent civilians - which surprises me considering their history.

I know it is a touchy subject but no disrespect intended.

Once again, you are blaming Jews for anti-Semitism. You are literally stating because some of the Israelis are Jews and because of the Holocaust (and I will have to assume you have some knowledge of other genocides and ethnic cleansing against my people), Jews can't be bad actors, and because some are, somehow their actions are even worse, and, therefore, bare some responsibility of OTHER actors who commit crimes against other Jews.

You are right that much of the recent anti-Semitism is because so many BIGOTS equate the actions of Israel with ALL Jews. But, JEWS are NOT to blame for anti-Semitism; anti-Semites are! So, focus on the BIGOTS and not the imagined culpability of the Jews/Israel.

Let me put it this way, would it be appropriate, or even logical, to excuse a rapist who attacked some random woman, because some other woman/women did something to offend him? Say, like turn him down over and over? Of course not!

Just don't blame victims of crime/bigotry for the actions of others who share the same characteristics.
