1. I can visualise some very important future Trump headed emergency meetings.

"Right", says Trump, "We've got this urgent national problem to deal with. Who here knows what to do?"

Heads shake slowly, eyes look furtively around the room for someone to speak up and make sense.

Trump: "Well, you are a useless lot! Why are you here anyway?"

Collective response: "You invited us, you picked us! But we didn't realise we had to do actual serious work!"

A big tirade and ketchup splattering on the meeting room walls ensues.

2. As always, he wants the title, but expects others to do the work

According to Mary Trump's book, that's what happened when he worked in his father's company. His father made him vice president and paid him accordingly, while others did the actual work.

3. Unreasonable to expect any boss who isn't too sure what the business he runs is all about

to know how to hire people who do know.

But Trump would never admit he doesn't know the basics, and would never hire anyone who knows more about the business of running the place that he does.

He wouldn't listen to someone like that anyway.

The last time he had experienced people in place who knew how government ran and exactly how things should be done. And from what we've seen so far, he isn't making that mistake again.
