Some of this info has been circulating for a while but now there are witnesses speaking out with receipts

2. Two things. The witnesses don't want to have to testify to the Senate because they've been under threat.

And the Senate could subpoena the report. Democrats should play hardball about that.

Second, there are current sitting Republicans also implicated in that report, and they're the reason for the delay. But the ethics committee meets tomorrow to decide. Either way, the contents of that report will see the light of day with or without Senate effort.
