Amnesty: Before Trump's Term, Biden Must Change Policies on Asylum, Gitmo, Death Penalty, Gaza

We continue our conversation with Amnesty International USA executive director Paul O'Brien, who has written to President Joe Biden urging him for a number of policy changes before he leaves office in January. O'Brien's letter calls for Biden to stop arms transfers to Israel and use U.S. leverage to end the war in Gaza; transfer detainees out of the Guantánamo Bay military prison and close the facility; commute the death sentences of people on federal and military death row; and restore asylum rights, which the administration severely curtailed this year. "He could do so much more," O'Brien says of Biden's last weeks in office.

1. After all the Biden/Harris bashing and before that the Hillary bashing, Democracy Now can go suck an egg. I hope they

enjoy trump, because they contributed indirectly to where we are today by convincing their viewers the mantra that there was no difference between Democrats and republicans.

Perhaps they can do some more Jill Stein, (pushing how Biden is a war criminal) interviews while they are at it.

Democrats don't do enough, blah blah blah. Almost everything Biden does now can be undone by Trump anyhow, but no matter how much he does, it won't be enough for the Jill Stein crowd.

They did nothing but bash Biden and Harris for four years. And now they are begging for help. Muslims and Latino men voted for Trump.
