To be honest, if I thought he "looked like" a relative of mine, I probably wouldn't have called it in.

"Looked like" would leave me with a lot of doubt and I wouldn't want to unnecessarily put a relative through the ordeal.

Based on how he answered, if I thought there was any possibility he was the guy I would have called the police.

He hadnt responded to messages from friends in the last few weeks.
