Trump's NYC Rally Was No "Love Fest" - Robert Reich

Trump called Jan 6 a “day of love.”

He called his hate-filled Madison Square Garden rally a “love fest.”

He has claimed: “Everybody loves me.”

I don't think he knows what love is. - 10/30/2024.

All he cares about is how he was perceived by the attendees. It's pretty obvious that his comment is from that perspective.

"I don't think he knows what love is"

Love doesn't mean the same thing to everybody. To Trump, the adoration from his dopey fans *is* love.

Everything about Trump is twisted, but his thought processes aren't that complicated. It's pretty easy to figure out that he's talking about his favorite subject, himself.
