?si=I3bIeXATBhr1IICvMy sister mailed her birthday gifts to her home in California last October 30th and has yet to receive them. She paid $45 to ship a box from Nebraska to California. Postal service said the box was last tracked in San Antonio?? DeJoy is succeeding in destroying our Postal Service.

(12,385 posts)Some private equity group will take over and rates for mail and packages will no doubt be increased enormously. The private equity pattern is always to cut staff, close unprofitable locations (most likely the rural ones) and sell the buildings paid for by taxpayer money for a profit to private investors, and cancel many services such as passport applications and renewals to force the service online where AI will handle everything, no staff needed.
Trumplandia will be a dystopian world where government serves only the rich.

Bang Bang........
I can hardly wait until Rural America wakes up to FedEx or UPS having to deliver to rural America instead of dumping their packages off for last mile delivery by the USPS. And the outrageous costs Rural America will have to pay to get a package delivered or even a letter. I can only imagine a Fifteen Dollar Stamp for a letter, and delivery only once a week, to make even more profits.....
My only consolation, is that the umpteen million Trumphumping Voters are gonna feel the pain as much, (or more) as all the rest of us.
HEY, Trump voters: YOU GREW IT, YOU CHEW IT.........
