BREAKING! The Retribution Begins! Kash Patel Threatens MSNBC Guest w/ Legal Action - Bulwark Takes

Tim and Sam react to Kash Patel's lawyer sending a letter to Olivia Troye threatening legal action for speaking out on his unfitness to serve as FBI director in the coming administration, and how it directly shows the fears many have with the FBI department being weaponized against journalists and political opponents. - 12/04/2024.

One of the lies being told by Patel is that he did not endanger a Seal Team. Here are some facts

https://www.spytalk.co/p/how-kash-patel-bungled-a-seal-team

YEARS BEFORE DONALD TRUMP NAMED HIM TO RUN THE FBI, Kash Patel was a prosecutor in the Obama Justice Department assigned to work with Delta Force and SEAL Team Six.......

On October 30, 2020, President Trump signed off on a mission to have SEAL Team Six rescue Philip Walton, a 27-year-old American who gunmen had abducted from his farm in the West African nation of Niger, near the border with Nigeria. The kidnappers had hustled Walton across the border to Nigeria and were demanding a $1 million ransom.

In their book Only I Can Fix It, journalists Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker reported that the plan called for the SEALs to parachute into northern Nigeria and move three miles on foot to reach the compound where Walton was being held.

Secretary of Defense Mark Esper had signed off on the plan with one or two questions: Did we have permission to fly over Nigeria?

Patel, then the senior director for counterterrorism on the National Security Council, assured the Pentagon that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo “got the airspace cleared.”

A few hours later, the Pentagon learned that Patel was wrong: Nigeria had not given permission......

But the Pentagon was still furious at Patel. Tony Tata, the Pentagon official to whom Patel had given the green light, confronted Patel in a rage.

“You could’ve gotten these guys killed!” Tata shouted at Patel, according to a report in The Atlantic. “What the fuck were you thinking?”

Patel’s response was: “If nobody got hurt, who the fuck cares?”

Is this the kind of person we want running the FBI? ###

7. Olivia Troye's attorney has responded to Kash Patel's demand for a retraction

Mark Zaid is a first class attorney and Binnall is a hack who has filed a couple of lawsuits for trump. I love the concept of using a picture from Monty Python to respond to Patel's demand for a retraction

This response by Troye's attorney made me laugh

https://www.rawstory.com/kash-patel-2670350304/

A national security lawyer with a reputation for defending political whistleblowers appeared unfazed by legal threats flung by President-elect Donald Trump’s pick to head the FBI.

In a legal letter on Friday, Mark Zaid sneered at demands Kash Patel made for Olivia Troye, a former counterterrorism aide to Mike Pence, to “publicly retract defamatory statements” of the MAGA loyalist. Zaid answered Patel’s lawyer Jesse Binnall, a veteran Trump attorney, by first noting that Troye’s statements have been previously stated “by a wide swath of the knowledgeable population.”

He then offered Patel’s attorney a visual image in his letter to reiterate his stance.

“But to answer your specific question as to Ms. Troye’s intensions as to a retraction, I think Monty Python expresses it best,” Zaid wrote above a photo of a mustached character from the Monty Python film known as the “French Taunter.”

“My counsel @markzaidesq.bsky.social’s response to #KashPatel & his threat to sue me for being critical of him on media & stating he is unfit to serve as FBI Director,” Troye wrote on social media. “Monty Python enters the chat.”

And Zaid wasn’t done. He also launched a social media blitz where he dug into his unwavering defense of his client and referred to Patel as “thin-skinned.”
