If they are doing that, why not a proof of address when a person is voting? So someone living in Florida, voting in

Florida can't also vote in Georgia?

(227,647 posts)2. Good point. I always vote at my assigned polling place (fire station) and they match my signature
And when I worked on my congressman's campaign a few years back, when going door door, I was assigned to a couple of retirement communities and quite a few of them had already voted absentee by mail.

really making their ballots invalid.
