(7,416 posts)2. I'm sorry, but those small gold crosses GOP women wear around their necks do very little to make them Christians.
First, they should consult the book that includes Exodus 20:2-17 and Deuteronomy 5:6-21 both clearly spell out adherence to ten simple messages.
United States Attorney General Pam Bondi, like many in Trump’s orbit, often wears a small cross around her neck — a symbol meant to signify faith, humility, and moral clarity. But when blind loyalty to a man like Donald Trump eclipses truth, justice, and compassion, it becomes clear that the cross is no longer a sacred emblem, but part of a political costume. “Thou shalt have no other gods before me” is not just a commandment — it’s a warning against idolatry, including the worship of power and personality. In this light, Leavitt & Bondi’s crosses are no different than a clown’s red nose: a prop meant to complete the character she’s playing. But no matter how convincing the costume, it cannot conceal the betrayal of the values that the cross is supposed to represent.
