62. I'm a woman who has not worn my wedding ring in YEARS

The one my husband put on my finger cut off my circulation when I was pregnant and I got used to not wearing it.. Later I started wearing it again, but the diamond stuck up and I accidentally scratched one of my boys when they were toddlers, so off it went again.. Years later it was replaced with a channel set ring with 12 diamonds.. Somehow, the bottom got "flat and when I heard how much it would cost to "round it again", I balked..so back into the jewelry box..

Fast forward some years and we were robbed, and all my jewelry went bye-bye..

My husband wanted me to get a new one, but I said.. I know I'm married, you know we're married, so I never replaced it ( and it was an expense we really couldn't afford).. I was so crushed when all my jewelry was taken, that I have never again worn ANY jewelry, nor wanted any.. I had heirloom jewelry from relatives and lots of great pieces I dearly loved.
