I remember people waiving Trump flags on street corners on random days. As in early 2019, long before the 2020 elections. I had to wonder what sort of person in a non-election year goes to a street corner and waives a flag with a man's name on it (absolutely insane in and of itself) for no reason other than signal fealty?
I mean, I like Biden. I like Obama. I like Clinton. But somehow the idea of putting any of their names on a flag and going out to some random street corner on some random day and wave it at traffic seems absolutely bizarre to me. It seems so beyond the pale in its ridiculousness. And yet I'd see dozens of people do this all the time.
I also remember these weird "Save the Children" corner rallies that popped up a year ago. They were specifically vague as to what children needed "saving" and how, but it was clear this was a covert QAnon inspired activity, as there were reports of these small corner rallies nationwide, all on the same day. And worst was that these adults were bringing their own children and using them as props. It was very creepy and unnerving.
