(22,014 posts)Have a friend who's literally a genius, and a great people leader too, he's also spewing this Covid nonsense like it's just fact. He's a coworker and in a company meeting about our vaccine mandate he was saying things like, "Well, if someone dies from the vaccine, can we sue the company for making us take it." "And, what about natural immunity???"
People are dying from Covid at a very high rate, the number of people worldwide who died from reactions to the vaccine is miniscule. Yet, here is this brilliant mathematician and engineer spewing the vaccines are dangerous nonsense to a group of his peers. he believes it enough to make a fool of himself in front of a large group.
And what you'll notice too in people like this is there's a tone to what they say and how they say it that they just assume that everyone is with them. They act like it's a small minority of people who want the vaccine when 80% of US adults have gotten vaccinated now with at least 1 shot. They were asking about people leaving the company rather than get vaccinated and they seemed to be under the impression that a massive % will leave, when we're only likely to lose a hand full of our 1200 on site workers. That's the propaganda at work, that the position is held by the majority when it's not.
