I am watching Liz Cheney freely sacrifice her political career in an attempt to do the right thing (and even though I agree with her about virtually nothing politically, I have to admire her commitment to the Constitution, and her fortitude in its defense).

Then today, I saw a 25 year old former White House staffer named Cassidy Hutchinson willingly expose herself to the certain calumny and abuse that will be forthcoming from a former President of the United States, accompanied by his legion of frequently violent acolytes, for the offense of simply speaking the truth. Regardless, she unflinchingly did so.

I have been under enemy fire, facing individuals manifestly dedicating to punching my ticket. But I was surrounded by brothers-in-arms. and we did our best to provide covering fire.

This young woman was all by herself, and before she had even left the stand, a former President had attacked her, and the cultists are already piling on, replete with death threats directed at her and her family.
She knew it would happen, and she still did her duty.

So fuck "balls". Those women have OVARIES!
