The House is stopping the assault weapon bill for the session [View all]
Looks like they plan on coming back to it next session.
I wonder if its due to all the cases against AW's that are working thru the courts now, or want to save it so its closer to the November vote. Lots of reasons to sit on it for a little, I dont know if they are good reasons.
