So annoying how the media has to twist headlines to get clicks, to create drama and conflict.

"Amid criticism"?? And where is that criticism coming from? The right-wing, which criticizes Biden for everything he does.

President Biden reacted immediately to the Maui wildfire tragedy with FEMA funds, the Head of FEMA sent to Maui, etc, etc, etc. Why would President Biden fly out while rescue workers, first responders, and other local resources need to be laser-focused on fighting the fire, rescuing those affected, etc?

I've worked in IT for over 20+ years. When we have a system down the WORST thing that can happen is a bazillion managers getting involved while the technical people are in the midst of troubleshooting. The best scenario is when one manager is assigned as the point person and he/she makes sure those working the issue have the resources they need, escalates if needed, and communicates with upper management so those working the issue can focus on troubleshooting and not the care and feeding of management. That is what President Biden is doing, making sure those working the problem have the resources they need and staying the h*ll out of their way.

The headlines might as well be "Biden eats breakfast amid criticism", "Biden goes to bed amid criticism", "Biden wakes up amid criticism"
