61. Why now why not then?

Every news agency should dedicate a staffer to each potential representative and just dig the hell out of their past. Maybe if voters got this kind of information ahead of primary and general elections, there'd be less dross rising to the top. It's not ok if they are a republican. It is not okay to have half the representatives and God knows how many appointed or hired government employees on the take. It is not only wrong, but it creates a climate of acquiescence: "If Mike does it, so can I." Not a good role model, not a good lifestyle.
