Oh…my…dear! I wish I was paid then, I guess I would agitate a hell of a lot more. I got bills to pay.
DEMS and I included myself, need to get off our collective arses and make some waves and get on the six o’clock news thus showing the rest of the nation that we are here and we are standing up to and are not afraid to fight fire with fire. Maybe “fire” is the wrong word. Aren’t we supposed to stand up to troublemakers and bullies?
Anyway, as usual we are all sitting around and quietly shooting the shit as they say and respectfully watching our future being eroded away by a very white, very powerful conservative bunch in power.
I go to Democratic Party meetings here in my town and it’s the same thing. Sweet and polite and do not ruffle feathers and no discussion of politics whatsoever. Taking donations and eating cake. It’s all very congenial. What’s not to like?
I am white, half –Jewish, and female. There! Do I fit into one of your dumbass slots? Oh….wait …and I am also very old (82) and very pissed.
I am tired of clinging to the Michelle Obama meme; we take the high road while every time they chip away at the very road that holds us up. Take abortion rights. I thought since half the nation was female, I figured us women would be all out in the streets and have this solved by now.
I am tired of being quiet and polite a feeling very misplaced and outdated. Are we an idea of people who are afraid to stand up to bullies? I am Democrat and I will always vote such. However, even the Barbie movie has more insight on the subject…..……..

So kids! Just how am I supposed to stand up to these dudes whether they are in front of me or at the ballot boxes across America? Do I just say please and wave my white hankie or do I wave my cane a lot while speaking when I speak?
Listen, in California we are lucky we are not challenged a lot by MAGAs….but they are here. However, wherever we are, we need to stand up, and show our numbers and speak louder and let them know we are HERE and we are not going anywhere.
