we deny Harris the top slot. How do you sell "well, she was good enough to help us win in 2020, but we can't have her as the Presidential candidate." Depressing the minority or female vote is a sure recipe for disaster.
Pick a swing state VP - Kelly of AZ, Shapiro of PA, or one of the popular red state Dem Governors like Beshear of KY or Cooper of NC.
