Go review his voting record in congress before you think too kindly of him. Like with Cheney, it was only on ONE thing where he balked from the party line. The rest he was good with.

That one thing does not make him worthy of having a role in the administration, not when set against the rest.

Let's put this topic aside for a dozen years or so, and see what he's been up to in that time.
