(121,513 posts)53. Nowhere. I appreciate his rejection of Trumpism, but
he's still an old-school Republican. Those are not nearly as bad as Trump Republicans, but they hold views on economic policies and the role of government in particular that are not at all compatible with those of the Democratic party, and for that reason he shouldn't be part of the Harris administration. He might be more useful in helping to reconstruct a legitimate center-right party that doesn't pose an existential threat to our democracy.
