Keeping in mind the rules of presidential succession and one of the unwritten rules of the universe: Things can always get worse. "President JD Vance" -- now there's a thought that'd curdle your cookies!

(Thankfully, it's looking more and more like we won't have to deal with that particular sword of Damocles.)
