(24,771 posts)39. After watching this a few times, I think that the cat was
reacting to the mic instead of to TSF. I love the possibility that the cat just doesn't like TSF and the timing was perfect since he was talking about cats and dogs being eaten.
But, on camera, the mic looks similar to a snake with its head raised or to a rodent with a very long tail. A cat would silently stalk and attack a mouse, which it considers fair game for lunch. But it would growl and hiss at a snake, which it considers a dangerous enemy to attack.
So it looks like the cat is attacking TSF as a dangerous threat, which we know that he is. But the cat probably thinks that the mic (snake) is the threat.
