Why is this race even close?

...donations after each donation, always says the election is close - even implying we're behind - but that may be marketing.

I give what I can, and I support the VP expecting her to be a great President, but I believe it is in the interest of the "...but her emails..." media to say it's close to sell access, and of course, the campaign wants to raise funds (I don't object) but I'm not sure it's really close.

What tells me that it isn't close is the large number of prominent Republicans who have either endorsed VP Harris, or declined to endorse the crazy assed, racist/rapist felon, which is mirrored I think by a lot of less prominent Republicans.

I keep waiting to see the morons who had Trump signs on my ride to work in 2016 and 2020 to repost their signs, but they haven't.

I believe the VP will be the beneficiary of a blow out because the Project 2025 crowd has overshot the bounds of decency at an unprecedented level. The nationalization of women's internal organs by the corrupt highly politicized thugs on the Supreme Court which has suddenly found it impossible to understand section 1 of the 14th amendment because of Taliban like religious hackery, will have a lot to do with that outcome.
