different definitions about what constitutes government. For eons, Dems have been branded as the party of big gov't., while Repugs are for small gov't. Dems expect government to protect them and provide services -- infrastructure, health care, clean air/water, fair elections, unbiased courts. Dems also include protections that provide privacy, consumer protection, and equal rights under the law.

Republicans seem to believe all of the above means Big Brother or socialism. But those basic rights benefit them, too.

Repugs seem to believe that TSF will provide small government, when it's the opposite: government that examines every aspect of their and our lives from the womb to the tomb.

It makes no logical sense.
