In reply to the discussion: Would you buy a Tesla? [View all]da svenster
(70 posts)50. this actually was one of the 2ndary reasons i went tesla
the supercharger network.
i know other EVs are starting to get access to the supercharger network but i don't see that for 2-3 years for wide adoption. my car (a 2005 2nd generation prius with almost 250k miles on it, purchased by me in late 2004).
other networks are not nearly as reliable. for the heck of it, i've tried a few different ones around madison and there are too many hurdles.
tesla:
* pull in
* pull out the charger
* point and push a button
* charge
10 seconds. no issues.

Curious what else you love about the car. Especially if you put it against a comparable model from a another company

*sigh* for whatever reason don't buy one. I dislike Musk with a passion, but love my Tesla.

I own one and love the car, but will never buy another until Leon is ousted from the company.

Overpriced. My used Nissan Leaf cost me $5000 after tax credit. Cost is less than $2 per day to commute. nt

It was ideal for me. I have ICE vehicles for long trips and wanted a commuter to do a 45 mile round trip per day.

I used to want one until Elon became (and or simply revealed himself as) such a flaming asshole
