There are people out there who know what Trump is and want to be exactly like Trump, but are too scared of possible consequences to act out their inner Trump desires.

They believe Trump in the White House will normalize his behaviour so that they too, can act like he does.
So they vote for him.

Trump isn't the problem, his enablers and admirers are.
