Not everyone is a volunteer. A lot of people need to get paid in order for her to get elected. And even the volunteers need things like food and water. When I was a volunteer, umpteen gazillion years ago, you needed to rent a building so that people could come together for phone banking. Now, you need computers, and software and programmers to link up the people who are calling from home.

In addition - rallies and events. You need to pay for security. Not just secret service, but security for the event. You need to rent a building - not free. You need "stuff/fluff" for the event. Flags, signs, banners, etc.

Then there is transportation. You need a plane, and all of the costs associated with a plane. You need cars and all of the costs associated with cars.

Now, on top of that - ads. Someone has to come up with them - those people want to be paid. Then you have to pay for air time. Very expensive.

Money is so horrifically important to a campaign. It really makes a difference. So yes, $100 million is a wonderful addition to her coffers.
