Dear Donors of the Democratic Underground:

I was deeply touched by your thoughtful donations to my campaign. I can't express enough how much we needed new funds to help us finish strong on November 5th. These funds are instrumental in helping us to canvass and potentially get out an important mailing that we've not been able to fund fully yet. I'm proud to tell you that although we had a late start to this campaign, we were still able to knock on over 42,000 doors since we started knocking in March. We have a 12-county area to cover where republicans have the party advantage, and it's been a challenge, but we are going to keep working until 8:00 p.m. on November 5th. However, I always like to remind folks I've run and won at 2 different levels of government in a predominantly republican area, even beating an incumbent for my seat in the legislature.

It's nice surprises like the support you rallied behind me via Act Blue that keeps me motivated and working hard. I give you my sincere thanks and send a little love your way as well, hoping that this note makes you feel as good about supporting me as it did to receive help from so many new friends.
