(5,796 posts)48. My experience is when the VP in my organisation always gave me a task to do knowing very well I had my hands
full working for the President. After two occasions, I asked him -- 'why me'. He said if you want something urgent done, give it to the busiest and most efficient person. I appreciated his confidence in me but the company never compensated me for working overtime and from home on weekends to get the job done.

The numbers I have seen have been in double digits...10% and up women to men...
