(35,692 posts)and the rest of the Democratic slate - as well as yet another anti-gerrymandering issue. (There have been two, and I believe 7 maps declared unconstitutional under the last two. We keep trying, but with a Republican Supreme Court, absent the Republican justice who voted with the Dems as to the maps - who has now retired, whatever crazy maps get drawn will be declared constitutional. The retired justice headed the committee for our third anti-gerrymandering ballot issue . . . )
All three of us in my house have voted. 50 votes for Democratic candidates (in total) and one for a Republican (Straight Democratic ticket for my daughter and me; I couldn't convince my spouse not to vote for her buddy - an objectively good Republican judge in a relatively politically innocuous court).
I've also been trained for the voter protection hotline (doing shifts tomorrow and Monday), observer, and boiler room (where I'll be from 5:30 AM through 10:00 PM - or later - on election day).
