My third and final day of canvassing [View all]

in Pa. brought me to a very rural working class area outside of Reading. Many Trump supporters on my route, but also many excited and defiant Harris supporters as well. Had good conversations with a couple of undecideds who really appreciated the outreach. Also a couple of bitter guys slammed their doors shut - fuck them.

Compared to 2016, where virtually every door we knocked on was supporting Trump over Hillary (and these were registered dems and independents), this year is an entirely different story. Harris is holding her own in these conservative areas. The plan in Pa is to “lose by less” in rural parts and run up the numbers in the cities. It’s a smart plan that seems to be paying off. It’s gonna be close here, but feeling cautiously optimistic about Tuesday. In solidarity ✊
