In reply to the discussion: If Trump "wins," would you accept him as your president? He didn't accept Obama or Biden as legitimate presidents. [View all]RandomNumbers

I think the fact that he could even run for President as a convicted felon, is a giant flaw in that Constitution, but it is what it is. (Never mind that the SC could have interpreted the 14th Amendment differently than it did; but the flaw is that it is not spelled out clearly enough.)
I think that this race is even close, with that P.O.S. heading the R ticket, shows we have a very sick society. There are days lately when I question what I even owe to a society so depraved.
By "not accept" counter-constitutional actions, I mean I would step up my contributions to protesting and fighting those actions, as much as I could, for as long as I manage to stay alive and out of prison. Or until I decide that this society that selected this garbage is just not deserving of it. (sorry. But I can see it coming to that. I will, however, try to keep my focus on the innocents, who have had no role in this.).
If it's not obvious, the needle on my disgust meter has broken from pegging so hard. Not about Trump himself - evil people will come and go - but the sick, cruel f*cks who know who he is and cheer him on.
Who was it that said, "In a democracy, the people get the government they deserve." It's a bit simplistic perhaps, but appears to be sadly true at this time.
