(519 posts)It reflects his need to push boundaries in his constant quest for dominance, and to test the limits of what he can get a way with in any situation. Domination in this case means rewriting the rules on acceptable campaign speeches. He loves when he does something outrageous and gets away with it. Like desecrating Arlington National Cemetery. He totally got away with it and that's the dominance part. So it's on to the next boundary to test: ultimate vulgarity and violent messaging. He simply can't help himself. Like a child that was warned 10 times to stop playing with the fine china, but won't stop doing it until he gets a spanking.
He's compelled to do this because he's not dominating and he knows it. He's not even dominating his own rallies when people are leaving in streams. To get that dominance back he needs to do something to make them stay, so maybe they'll stay to see the next awful thing he does. He dominates by changing their behavior but it's not working. If it wasn't vulgarity it would be some other thing, but i think that's the only tool within reach for him to satisfy himself at the moment.
