Elon has control of X which contained an almost infinite amount of personal data - everyone ever on Facebook - that was used to reach individuals on multiple platforms - social, gaming, news, parenting, etc.

AI shaped unique advertisements. Is an individual more likely to slow down their scrolling if a meme had a strong father figure, a soldier, a homoerotic theme that aroused “heterosexual” men afraid of their sexual attractions? Do they prefer women that are super thin, long blonde or brown hair? Standing or lying in a vulnerable posture? Particular types of hypermasculine individuals?

Decades of easy access to porn with themes of violence, constant viewing of “violence solves all problems” shows, and killing scores of human beings while gaming that has taught them that violence is life, it’s happening all around us, everyday - we must have an AK47 brandishing MAN to protect us all.

I know that dozens of other factors contributed to the election result. My point is that the campaign was massive and mostly online. Trump’s appearances, behavior, etc. was what we saw, so we thought they were doomed. We could not see the massiveness and complexity of the activity online so we are shocked.

I am logging off now to see if I can remember how to put one foot in front of the other.
