124. There are three MAGATs I can't cut off

My brother, one of my best friends, and my nephew. I love them all dearly. We just don't even try to talk politics anymore.

My brother and I are the last of our family. We talk often. My friend gives me hugs when I'm down, and would do anything in the world for me, and has. My nephew is the only one of 5 nephews who has bothered to stay in touch.

I'm not going to let them go, but I am going to smile knowingly and nod when they see what their anointed one is really all about.

Otherwise, I'm still kind of numb, and deeply depressed. I'm not watching any news. I think Putin and Musk handed this to trump. I didn't watch Kamala's speech, and I'm not going to watch Joe's. I skip anything posted on DU that has trump in the title. I know Joe vowed to have a peaceful transition, but I think now is not the time to put high morality above the good of the country. The Supremes have given him unlimited power. I don't have hard suggestions yet, but I'm sure we could make a lengthy list. THIS I would be willing to get behind and fight for.

Right now, I'm going to go ride my horse, and plant some more trees.
