(237 posts)15. Unfortunately the opposite is true for my wife and I.
I'm also paycheck to paycheck, and Rent went up nearly $300 a month, price of monthly expenses on food doubled or more, and instead of being able to put spare money into a 401k, even 5%, we can't afford to do that any longer. Don't get me wrong, I still voted Harris because I'm comfortable enough to do so, but many aren't.
Everyone's experience is different, and I'm certainly not discounting yours, but there are a ton of people out there hurting financially and for Democrats to screech "They're just sexist racist homophobes" at the top of their lungs rather than taking an introspective look at their messaging is... Laughable at best. Pathetic and myopic at worst.
