are anti-intellectual, under-educated, and lack critical
thinking skills.
Others explain how children are groomed and indoctrinated
into hate, bigotry, and fear of books or teachers who actually
provide them with truths they have been conditioned to
disbelievel.
The issues of evolution and climate change give us two
primary examples of this. I spent long years at various forums
discussing these issues, and conservatives and Christians to
a tee were really rabid about disproving evolution and climate
change.
No amount of logic, facts, or science would change their minds.
We have a great number of people who pride themselves in
believing only in the bible, for example; and pick and sort out
pseudo-scientists to use to try to make their false beliefs seem
true.
Magats and Christians have not changed to this day in any way
on their views of these subjects. And they truly believe that
liberals and real scientists are evil, godless people just for
trying to help them get a real education.
Look at the total decimation of the Florida education system
as the test case for what is now going to happen on the federal
level.
It hardly bears thinking about.
