84. Good for you ... you just never know, and are always better safe by saying NO, and preparing yourself to run,

if need be, or if armed w/ spray or such, use it, if danger approaches. Good for you! I have two sisters, both (only one is living now) are good shooters, and one always carries a pistol in her bag. I was so happy to learn this. They live on outskirts of town, e.g., 10 miles or so out, so it's a plus w/ the remoteness and critters that you may run across too.

My mom always carried too, when she went on her daily walks and she was 20+ miles from town. And she has had issues w/ critters so she always carried.

And the thing is about a gun, you don't necessarily have to hit the critter, usually the retort of it firing is enough. But she got lessons from her husband Steve, who's an avid hunter, so she was something of a decent shot, a good thing.

One must protect yourself and yours. Always. You just never know when that moment may come.
