62. There is no "once and for all" in human society

We changed. We've changed before and we'll change again, over and over, until evolution finishes with us. Plato was correct in his assessment of democracy as fragile and dangerously close to tyranny, and history shows us remnants of this fragility repeatedly when we care to look. Fortunately tyranny is even shakier and has difficulty transitioning from singular personalities to dynasties. This will be the next battlefield and it favors liberty. Let's prepare for the fight of our lives.
