(1,140 posts)I think there are core ideas that apply across the spectrum. Responding to each falsehood is whack-a-mole.
Maybe this descends into slogans, which in a perfect world is not what good governance is about. And maybe it's hard to see how these would break through, but some simple concepts need to break through somehow. Who knows what might resonate...

Stop The Gaslighting, It's hurting All of Us
Propaganda Is a Real Thing
Money Is Not Truth
Remember What Made This Country Great
Is this really who we are?
Think. You are slipping behind, who is getting ahead?
If these are just bumper stickers on cars they will have no effect. But if they are repeated and expanded upon and effectively explained in a coordinated way with a thoughtful media exposure strategy, maybe it would have some effect. Of course those are just suggestions, but it's the approach I'm thinking about.
