38. Biden appointed one of two USPS board members when two seats were available
Sat Nov 16, 2024, 01:45 AM
Nov 16

President Biden nominated Marty Walsh to the USPS Board of Governors, filling one of the two vacancies. Federal law requires that no more than five members of the board be from the same political party. This means Biden could appoint another Democrat to the remaining vacancy, but he hasn't done so yet. The board currently has three Republicans, three Democrats, and one independent. This balance ensures diverse perspectives and compliance with the law.

You could hear the Dems scream when Biden missed this opportunity to get rid of DeJoy.

As of 11/15/24, there is one vacant seat to be filled.
